Three projects for investment relate to information systems. The fourth project for investment is a new Internet-oriented business model (the rental of software and digital data in exchange for viewing ads).

As you can see, projects require investment in the range of $439,000 to $14,000,000. The amount of projected income depends on the amount of investment. All data are tabulated below.

SoftInfrom DMS

SoftInform DMS (SI DMS) is a system designed for storing documents in various formats, structuring and searching for desired data in large arrays of text information. SI DMS can accept any kind of document registered in Windows. If a document contains text information, the text is indexed for subsequent full-text search (to learn more, click here).

As SI DMS is a multipurpose product with a wide set of capabilities and ways of its practical application, it is planned to release several versions of the given software product.

The implementation and the promotion of the project require at least $439,000. The project will bring the net profit from the 17^th month and then in 6 months it will bring $1,700,000 a year on the assumption of minimum revenues and maximum expenses.

If additional investments in the promotion of the project will speed up the process of profit earning and increase its amount. The additional investment of $1,500,000 ($2,000,000 in total) will increase three times the profit and it will exceed $5,000,000 a year.

Internet Office

The goal of this project is to provide Internet users with a convenient instrument for working with Web information (to learn more, click here). Within the framework of this project we plan to realize several components:

	Internet Office a program product for searching, storing, structuring and processing Internet information,
	Search query converter – a program for meta search operating on the Internet server,
	Online bookmarker – an Internet service for storing user data (links and links of links) and working with them.

The implementation and the promotion of the project require at least $612.000. The project will bring the net profit from the 17^th month and then in 6 months it will bring $2,000,000 a year on the assumption of minimum revenues and maximum expenses.

The additional investment of $1,400,000 ($2,000,000 in total) will increase the profit up to $6,000,000 a year ($500,000 a month).

Rental center

The main aim of this project is to create a rental center that will provide the user with software, audio/video files (MP3, etc.), computer games, e-books, etc. free of charge, but in exchange for viewing ads. It is possible to rent both online and offline oriented software. There is no need to have a permanent connection to the Internet.

The project will attract offline advertisers to the Internet who currently prefer to advertise on television and radio as well as advertisers with small ad budget who can permit themselves to advertise in the press.

In fact, this project combines two technologies: software rental (and electronic data) and a new Internet advertising technology. On the one hand, it will create a new distribution channel for software (and other data), on the other hand, it will change the attitude of advertisers to Internet advertising (to learn more, click here).

If the project is implemented in Russia, it will require $350,000 of investment. In 12 months the project will bring at least $150,000 of net profit a month.

If the project is implemented in Western Europe or America, it will require $2,000,000. In 12 months the project will bring at least $650,000 of net profit a month.

The difference between the sums of investment required for the project is connected with the difference between the sums of expenses required for the promotion of the project.

Internet-oriented projects

This is a joint implementation of the projects Internet Office and Rental center that will bring $16,800,000 of profit), because the marketing plans of these projects are a lot in common and these projects supplement each other. To learn more, click here.

LeoBase

LeoBase is a post-relational Database. Its ideology of information processing provides:

	searching by an arbitrary logical combination of key fields that several times faster than in existing solutions. This is achieved due to absence of processing records one by one used in most DBMS at a certain stage of work
	there is non need to optimize queries
	saving disk space
	and other advantages

The refusal from conventional data models allows using LeoBase in solutions where it is impossible or very difficult to use most of well known databases. All LeoBase’s advantages are based on unique technologies and its implementation is not a simple improvement of existing algorithms, but the development of new solutions that can influence the process of development of information technologies related to searching, storing and processing data. Most of them can be applied not only in DBMS, but in a wide range of other fields (to learn more, click here).

The LeoBase project requires $14,000,000 and includes the development of DBMS LeoBase and a number of software products based LeoBase's technologies as well as the implementation of the SoftInform DMS project and the Internet-oriented projects (Internet Office and Rental Center). In contrast to other projects the LeoBase project require long-term investments and will bring high profit only in 3-4 years after the start of the development. However, in two years it will bring $15,000,000 - 20,000,000 a year, because the promotion of all the projects included in LeoBase will beging in 12-18 months.
